A team of passionate veterinarians, technicians, and client advocates — united by one mission: exceptional in-home care for every pet across greater Phoenix.
Dr. Carrie Sander was born and raised in northern Wisconsin. After moving to Phoenix, she started working in the veterinary field and now has about 20 years of experience caring for a wide variety of animals! She attended veterinary school at Midwestern University in Arizona and received her DVM in 2019. When not working, Dr. Carrie loves anything outdoors, especially when it involves seeing wildlife. She and her husband currently have 3 kitties: Roo (aka Rupert), Baby-gorgeous, and Mr. Papagiorgio.
Dr. Gina was born and raised in North Phoenix. She started working in the veterinary field in 1996. Dr. Gina pursued her veterinary education abroad attending both Ross University Veterinary School in Saint Kitts and Nevis and St. Matthew's Veterinary School in the Cayman Islands. She spent her clinical rotations at Oklahoma State University Teaching Hospital in Stillwater, OK, and graduated with her DVM in 2009. Three years later, she earned her MBA in medical management. Dr. Gina is one of Arizona's first veterinarians certified in veterinary hospice and palliative care (CHPV). When not practicing, she enjoys time with her husband Gerry, three young children, dogs Poppy and Rory, and tortoise Mr. T.
Dr. Chelsi was born and raised in Glendale, Arizona, where she began volunteering at animal shelters and caring for wildlife at an early age. She received her bachelor's degree from Arizona State University and completed her doctorate in veterinary medicine at Ross University in 2023, following her clinical year at Louisiana State University. When not at work, Dr. Chelsi enjoys reading, crafting, and spending time outdoors. She stays busy with her five cats and her dog, Chili, who accompanies her almost everywhere.
Alicia has been a Certified Veterinary Technician since 2017. Born and raised in Arizona, she grew up surrounded by animals of all kinds, sparking a lifelong passion for veterinary medicine. She earned her degree from Pima Medical Institute, where her love for the field came full circle when she later became an instructor for the Veterinary Technician program. Alicia especially enjoys patient education, senior and geriatric pet care, and has a growing interest in alternative medicine and physical rehabilitation. When she's not caring for patients, she can be found on mini-adventures with her son, watching her ball python Mac n Cheese, wrangling her dogs Taco and Daisy, or enjoying a cozy moment with baking, books, popcorn, and a little Star Wars or Harry Potter magic.
With over 10 years of experience as a veterinary technician, I am passionate about providing compassionate, high-quality care to every patient I meet. I have a special place in my heart for cats, and my love for animals extends beyond the clinic. At home, I share life with my fiancé, our son, seven cats, and one dog, all of whom are cherished members of our family. When I'm not working, I enjoy spending quality time with my loved ones and the pets who make our house a home.
Bridget was born in California and moved to Arizona in 2006. She has been working as a veterinary assistant for a couple of years. When the weather allows it, she loves to go hiking, and she has senior fur babies that she loves!
Gabrielle has always had a deep love for animals, both large and small. Prior to starting her veterinary externship in 2017, she could be found working with horses on a ranch out in Wittmann. After completing her externship, Gabrielle's first job was as a veterinarian's assistant and she has worked in the field since 2018. In her free time, you can still find her horseback riding or training/competing in jiu-jitsu. Gabrielle also has an interest in linguistics/language study and tries to find fun and unique ways to progress her language-learning when she can.
Gina grew up in the Monterey Bay area of California. She has always loved the animal world. Gina graduated from California State University of Fresno with a Bachelor of Science in Pre-Veterinary Animal Science. She has been actively working in the veterinary field since 1998 and has volunteered at the Monterey Bay Aquarium preparing meals for all the different animal exhibits. Gina moved to Arizona in 2008 and became a CVT in 2013. She has 18 years of experience as both a pet care provider and a client relationship specialist. She believes that the pet parents are just as important as the fur kids. When not working she enjoys gardening, running, cooking, and spending time with her siblings and extended fur family.

She has been working in the veterinary field since 2022 and loves being able to make a difference in the lives of pets and their families. She joined the Valet Vet family in the spring of 2024. Karah is happily married to her husband of 15 years. They have 3 beautiful daughters and 2 crazy dogs, Freya and Jane. Isaac earned his Bachelor of Science in Health Sciences from Grand Canyon University and brings more than 20 years of healthcare and veterinary operations leadership to Valet Vet. He grew up in St. Louis, Missouri, and moved to Phoenix in 2002 with his wife Sandee — arriving on Christmas Eve, just six months after they were married. They spent 17 years in North Phoenix before settling in Scottsdale. They have two children: Allison (21), who will graduate next month with her Master's in Human Systems Engineering, and Zach (17), a junior in high school. The family also includes Duncan, a 10-year-old Springer Spaniel; Phoebe, a 7-year-old Golden Retriever; Otis, a 6-year-old orange cat; and Finn, their big Sheepadoodle. Outside of work, Isaac enjoys time with family, travel, staying active, music, and movies. His faith is an important part of his life, and he also enjoys attempting to garden and wine nights alongside Sandee.
Hello there! My name is Raeann. I have been in the veterinary field for over 15 years now, more than 10 with Valet Vet! I love working here! I am born and raised in Phoenix, I love the heat! I went to Kaplan College to get my Associates in Occupational Studies in Veterinary Technology in 2011. In my spare time, I can usually be found with my nose in a book, watching something on Disney, doom scrolling new recipes to try, or hiking a nearby mountain with my son and trusty dog, Cyndi Pawper. I also have two cats and a ball python.
Jersey oversees all matters of pet relations from his corner office (any sunny windowsill). A distinguished tabby with an executive presence, he specializes in morale management, quality-control naps, and unsolicited supervision of the team. His leadership style has been described as “demanding, but soft.” He accepts payment in chin scratches and holds daily standing meetings at the treat cabinet.
Chili rules the Valet Vet kingdom from a throne of pink blankets, tiara firmly in place. A chihuahua of impeccable taste and formidable executive presence, she sets the vision, approves all treats, and personally inspects every lap in the building. Her decrees are non-negotiable, her cuddles are strategic, and her reign has been described as “benevolent, mostly.” Long live the queen.
We believe exceptional patient care starts with a healthy, supported team.
