Dr. Carrie Sander

Dr. Carrie Sander was born and raised in northern Wisconsin. After moving to Phoenix, she started working in the veterinary field and now has about 20 years of experience caring for a wide variety of animals! She attended veterinary school at Midwestern University in Arizona and received her DVM in 2019. When not working, Dr. Carrie loves anything outdoors, especially when it involves seeing wildlife. She and her husband currently have 3 kitties: Roo (aka Rupert), Baby-gorgeous, and Mr. Papagiorgio.

Born and raised in northern Wisconsin, Dr. Carrie has about 20 years of veterinary experience and earned her DVM from Midwestern University in 2019. She loves anything outdoors and shares her home with three cats.

Dr. Kim Hiller

Dr. Kim Hiller was born and raised in Phoenix, AZ. After college at the University of Michigan and a couple years in the workforce, she realized her passion had always been for veterinary medicine. She completed a Master's degree in Biomedical Sciences at Colorado State University before heading to veterinary school at Oregon State University. After graduating in 2014, Dr. Kim spent one year in a rotating internship in San Diego, CA seeing mostly emergency cases before working at general practices in Southern California and Arizona. Outside of work, Dr. Kim enjoys traveling, rooting for the Michigan Wolverines (Go Blue!), and spending time with her husband, two young children, and two schnauzer mixes.

Oregon State University DVM 2014, with a rotating internship in emergency medicine in San Diego. Dr. Kim enjoys traveling, Go Blue, and spending time with her family and two schnauzer mixes.

Dr. Chelsi Sheek

Dr. Chelsi was born and raised in Glendale, Arizona, where she began volunteering at animal shelters and caring for wildlife at an early age. She received her bachelor's degree from Arizona State University and completed her doctorate in veterinary medicine at Ross University in 2023, following her clinical year at Louisiana State University. When not at work, Dr. Chelsi enjoys reading, crafting, and spending time outdoors. She stays busy with her five cats and her dog, Chili, who accompanies her almost everywhere.

Glendale, AZ native and lifelong animal advocate. DVM from Ross University 2023. She's accompanied nearly everywhere by her dog Chili and five cats.

Leigh — Operations Director

Leigh began working in the veterinary field in 1995, working part-time as a receptionist while attending college for Medical Laboratory Technology. After earning her degree, she realized that her heart belonged more in animal medicine and received her Veterinary Technician certification in 2001. She comes to Valet Vet with over 10 years of veterinary management experience. Born and raised in Wisconsin, Leigh headed south to sunny Arizona in 2012 with her husband and a car full of pets. They are SO happy to not be shoveling snow anymore! In her spare time, you'll find Leigh hiking, working out, or reading. She and her husband are self-proclaimed wine snobs and enjoy discovering new vineyards popping up throughout the state. They also routinely go camping with their 2 energetic pittie pups, who love hiking, swimming, and riding in the ATV.

In the veterinary field since 1995 and a certified vet tech since 2001, Leigh brings 10+ years of management expertise to Valet Vet. Wisconsin transplant, Arizona convert, and proud pittie mom.

Raeann — Fleet & Facility Lead

Raeann was born and raised in Phoenix, AZ! She knew from a young age that animals were her passion. In her sophomore year of high school, her family found and took in a little puppy that came down with parvovirus — she found her calling when the veterinary staff successfully treated and saved her little Lily-Pitt. Raeann graduated from Kaplan College with her Associates in Occupational Studies in 2011. In her spare time, she loves spending time with her husband (Skyler), son (Tatum), 2 dogs (Chase and Eleanor), 3 cats (Ace, Jackson, and Cedric), and ball python (Oliver). She also enjoys all things Harry Potter and Minnesota Vikings. SKOL!

Raeann
Technician · Fleet & Facility Lead

Born and raised in Phoenix, Raeann found her calling saving a puppy with parvovirus as a teen. CVT since 2011, Harry Potter fan, and proud Minnesota Vikings supporter. SKOL!

Monica — Veterinary Services Lead

Monica has been a Veterinary Technician for over 5 years — she dreamed of working with animals since she can remember! She is your go-to for keeping things running smoothly (with coffee in hand, of course). She truly loves combining quality care with calm, organized chaos, which fits her role as Veterinary Services Lead perfectly. When not at work, she's soaking up every bit of family time with her husband, two amazing kids, and two fur babies. She's a full-time animal lover, part-time snack provider! She also loves Harry Potter, seafood boils, and the Phoenix Suns!

Alicia — CVT

Alicia has been a Certified Veterinary Technician since 2017. Born and raised in Arizona, she grew up surrounded by animals of all kinds, sparking a lifelong passion for veterinary medicine. She earned her degree from Pima Medical Institute, where her love for the field came full circle when she later became an instructor for the Veterinary Technician program. Alicia especially enjoys patient education, senior and geriatric pet care, and has a growing interest in alternative medicine and physical rehabilitation. When she's not caring for patients, she can be found on mini-adventures with her son, watching her ball python Mac n Cheese, wrangling her dogs Taco and Daisy, or enjoying a cozy moment with baking, books, popcorn, and a little Star Wars or Harry Potter magic.

CVT · Certified Veterinary Technician

CVT since 2017 and former instructor at Pima Medical Institute. Passionate about senior pet care and alternative medicine. Proud owner of a ball python named Mac n Cheese.

Lauren — Technician

Lauren began working in the veterinary field in 2012, starting out as a kennel attendant and knowing then that this was the career path for her! She loves working with all kinds of animals and has a few of her own. She has lived in Arizona all her life and in her spare time likes to travel all over the state to sightsee, hike, and camp.

In the veterinary field since 2012, Arizona lifer, and outdoor enthusiast. Lauren loves every kind of animal and spends her free time exploring the state by trail and campfire.

Savannah

Savannah has dedicated seven years to animal health, bringing experience from her time as a veterinary technician, surgical technician, and supervisor. She has a special interest in end-of-life care, believing every pet deserves comfort and dignity in their final stages. She loves that mobile care allows her to treat pets who might be too nervous or physically unable to visit a traditional clinic. When she hangs up her scrubs, Savannah goes home to her Chow/Shepherd mix Bandit. She loves hiking trails with Bandit or settling in for a relaxing evening of video games with her boyfriend.

Seven years in animal health with deep expertise in end-of-life care. Savannah believes every pet deserves comfort and dignity at every stage. Dog mom to Bandit.

Client Experience

Client Relations

Gina R — Client Relations Specialist

Gina grew up in the Monterey Bay area of California. She has always loved the animal world. Gina graduated from California State University of Fresno with a Bachelor of Science in Pre-Veterinary Animal Science. She has been actively working in the veterinary field since 1998 and has volunteered at the Monterey Bay Aquarium preparing meals for all the different animal exhibits. Gina moved to Arizona in 2008 and became a CVT in 2013. She has 18 years of experience as both a pet care provider and a client relationship specialist. She believes that the pet parents are just as important as the fur kids. When not working she enjoys gardening, running, cooking, and spending time with her siblings and extended fur family.

CVT with 18 years of veterinary field experience and a heart for client relationships. Former Monterey Bay Aquarium volunteer. She firmly believes pet parents matter just as much as the fur kids.

Karah — Client Engagement Specialist

Karah was born in Oregon and moved to Arizona when she was 11. She has been working in the veterinary field since 2022 and loves being able to make a difference in the lives of pets and their families. She joined the Valet Vet family in the spring of 2024. Karah is happily married to her husband of 15 years. They have 3 beautiful daughters and 2 crazy dogs, Freya and Jane. When she is not at work, Karah enjoys family outings and activities and exploring the desert.

Oregon-born, Arizona-raised, Karah joined Valet Vet in 2024 and brings warmth to every client interaction. Mom to three daughters and two dogs (Freya and Jane) who are, by all accounts, absolutely crazy.

Dr. Gina Lee Finney

Dr. Gina was born and raised in North Phoenix. She started working in the veterinary field in 1996. Dr. Gina pursued her veterinary education abroad attending both Ross University Veterinary School in Saint Kitts and Nevis and St. Matthew's Veterinary School in the Cayman Islands. She spent her clinical rotations at Oklahoma State University Teaching Hospital in Stillwater, OK, and graduated with her DVM in 2009. Three years later, she earned her MBA in medical management. Dr. Gina is one of Arizona's first veterinarians certified in veterinary hospice and palliative care (CHPV). When not practicing, she enjoys time with her husband Gerry, three young children, dogs Poppy and Rory, and tortoise Mr. T.

Dr. Gina was born and raised in North Phoenix. She started working in the veterinary field in 1996. She is one of Arizona's first veterinarians certified in veterinary hospice and palliative care (CHPV), with a deep passion for supporting geriatric pets and their families.

Isaac grew up in St. Louis, Missouri, and moved to Phoenix in 2002 with his wife Sandee — arriving on Christmas Eve, just six months after they were married. They spent 17 years in North Phoenix before settling in Scottsdale. They have two children: Allison (21), who will graduate next month with her Master's in Human Systems Engineering, and Zach (17), a junior in high school. The family also includes Duncan, a 10-year-old Springer Spaniel; Phoebe, a 7-year-old Golden Retriever; Otis, a 6-year-old orange cat; and Finn, their big Sheepadoodle. Outside of work, Isaac enjoys time with family, travel, staying active, music, and movies. His faith is an important part of his life, and he also enjoys attempting to garden and wine nights alongside Sandee.

Isaac joined Valet Vet bringing years of operational leadership. A St. Louis native now rooted in Scottsdale with his wife Sandee, two kids, and a full house of pets — including Duncan, Phoebe, Otis, and the big Sheepadoodle, Finn.
